From March 24th to 25th, 2018, SUSTech’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering and the Key Laboratories of Computational Intelligence in Shenzhen co-hosted the Workshop on Swarm Intelligence. The workshop took place at the Lynn Library at SUSTech.

Head and Chair Professor of SUSTech’s Department of Computer Science and Engineering Yao Xin was joined by Chair Professors Shi Yuhui and Hisao Ishibuchi, and Adjunct Professor Li Xiaodong, from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering. City University of Hong Kong Professor Kuang Dehu and Hong Kong Baptist University Chair Professor Liu Jiming were among the more than 60 experts in the computational intelligence field who attended the workshop. Professor Shi Yuhui hosted the workshop.

Five scholars made eight high-level reports throughout the two-day activity. Attracted by the fantastic reports, the attendees responded the questions actively. From April 19th to 20th we will see the Department of Computer Science and Engineering host another workshop, entitled “SUSTech-UTS Joint Workshop on Advanced Optimization and Learning,” in conjunction with the University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Welcome the attendees both inside and outside the university to participate in the workshop later in April 3rd.
