On May 31, Chen Yidan, the Co-Founder of Tencent, led a delegation to SUSTech. The delegation received a warm welcome from University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong, President Chen Shiyi, and other university leaders. 

After visiting the 3D campus construction model, residential colleges, Lynn Library, and the Pico Center inside Material Characterization and Preparation Building, Chen Yidan’s delegation and SUSTech leaders attended a seminar on recent developments at SUSTech.

As the founder of Wuhan College and the Chen Yidan Foundation, Chen Yidan also invited Dean of Wuhan College Cui Xiaohui and Chen Qiong, Secretary-General of the College Board to join the delegation. SUSTech Chief Financial Officer Ye Qin and SUSTCEF Secretary-General also accompanied the guests and presented the most recent updates on SUSTCEF to the delegation.
