On June 22 and 23, an AED (Automated External Defibrillator) training session was co-organized by SUSTech’s Safety and Environmental Health Office and Shenzhen Emergency Center (SZERC). Attendees included representatives of students, faculty members, securities and dormitory supervisors.
At the training session, SZERC’s advisors taught SUSTech representatives how to use AEDs through concepts, theories, video tutorials and hands-on practice. Besides having its members learn how to respond to medical emergencies correctly, SUSTech also aims to build its campus safety network further through this training . SUSTech will organize more similar activities in the future and aims to become a leading force in ER education in China.
