Organized by SUSTEF’s SUSTech Club, the Super Cello Concert & Artificial Intelligence Rhapsody took place at SUSTech’s Culture Activities Center on July 1. Invited attendees included President Chen Shiyi, University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong, University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang, and representatives from various enterprises and organizations.

During the concert, famous cello player Zhu Yibing and his bandmates Dong Xiao, Wang Junxiang and Ye Wan presented classic songs such as Pachelbel’s Canon and Bach’s Air “On The G String.” After the concert, a charity auction of SUSTech’s best lychee tree took place. Mr. Liu Hongyu won the bid and received a certificate from Guo Yurong.

The event also involved interdisciplinary dialogues on artificial intelligence (AI), where Zhu Yibing, Humanities Center Director Chen Yuehong and Head of Mathematics Department Xia Zhihong shared their views on the topic.
