On July 4^th, the Second Broad of Trustees Meeting for SUSTech Alumni Association’s first members was held at SUSTech’s International Conference Room. Hosted by University Council Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang, the meeting invited President Chen Shiyi, Vice President Wu Chuanyue and SUSTech Alumni Association’s Broad of Trustees members. 

Chen Shiyi acknowledged the achievements the alumni association has made so far and offered a few important reminders for alumni work: organizing alumni activities creatively, sharing resources with alumni members, service the alumni with multifaceted and long-term plans in mind, and fostering a sense of connection among alumni. 

A set of regulations were passed at the meeting, and the Alumni Liaison Appointment Meeting followed immediately after. Li Fengliang congratulated on the alumni who were appointed liaisons and thanked them personally for their contributions. After handing them certificates, Li also reaffirmed the important role of alumni and called on them to be SUSTech’s promoter and partner in future collaborations. Liaison representative He Tianzi delivered the acceptance speech, saying he and other liaisons would spare no effort in building an effective platform for alumni communication.
