Community Comes Together for Discussion on Traffic on Campus

Last week, the head of Nanshan District’s Traffic Police Brigade, Huang Haidong, visited SUSTech to discuss campus traffic safety. Deputy Secretary of SUSTech’s Party Committee Li Fengliang joined other officials in meeting with Huang Haidong. Other officials involved in the meeting came from the Office of Safety, Health and Environment, the Infrastructure Office, the Campus Service Office, the Student Affairs Office and the Graduate School.

During the meeting, Li Fengliang thanked the Nanshan District Traffic Management Department for their concern and support for SUSTech. Both sides discussed many issues including improving campus transportation facilities, optimizing campus transportation organization and strengthening construction vehicle management. They also agreed to improve in-depth interactions and cooperations and to raise awareness of traffic safety for students.
