“Everyone, please don’t call me junior or senior schoolmate but Teacher Li.” Counselor Li Siming of Shude College made fun with the students. From 9 to 11 on the morning of September 1, 2015, students of Class 11 to Class 20 in the year 2015 of Shude College welcomed their meeting with counselors at the No.1 Teaching Building of SUSTC, and this was the first time for them to get together to hold the class meeting, at which counselors Qiu Lulu, Ma Ying, Li Siming and part-time counselor Wang Jian, etc. cordially met the students and conversed with them. The meeting was respectively undergone in several terrace classrooms of No.1 Teaching Building with the counselor as the unit.   

The meeting began with a light and delighted group game. Gradually the students got rid of their reserved mind and strangeness, and the class atmosphere also become alive. To help the fresh students to know more each other and better adapt to the study in SUSTC, the counselor organized a game named “Students Recognition Competition in One Minute” at the meeting. Some students could knew more than 10 classmates, which made the class atmosphere alive and helped their mutual acquaintance, thus setting a sound foundation for them to adapt to the study and life at SUSTC.
