Bridge Club of SUSTC obtained golden and silver medal winners of student group in national bridge correspondence match (Shenzhen) ended on Sept. 20, 2015. The match was undertaken by Chinese Bridge Association and divided into Adult Group and Student Group (Youth Group), in which, the student group was divided into junior school group, high school group and college group. 4 students sent by Bridge Club of SUSTC were divided into two groups to take part in the match. As a result, the group of Tang Boshi and Li Yansong obtained the golden metal of college group and silver metal of student group; the group of Hu Yinqiao and Gong Qiming obtained the silver metal of college group and the 4th of student group.

Bridge is an elegant intellectual activity, which can centrally reflect the comprehensive qualities of intelligence, personality, psychological quality and personal cultivation of one person. Different with Weiqi for most individual combat, the Bridge needs to rely on the perfect unison and cooperative combat between partners. The Bridge can train a person’s abilities to accurately understand problems, rigorously express problems, logically judge problems, comprehensively think about problems and solve problems with different solutions. Although the Bridge club of SUSTC was built in this year, it can reflect the wonderful style and features of Students’ Associations to obtain such great achievements at the early days of founding.
