This week, high-level talents from Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) took a trip to Shanghai in order to develop a better understanding of China’s political development. The trip was led by SUSTech Council Chairperson Guo Yurong.

As part of the trip, the participants combined the knowledge of their respective fields and their work experience at SUSTech. They also discussed the education of undergraduate students, methods of introducing research talents and research institutions to SUSTech, and how best to manage the University. All the attendees showed great care for SUSTech in expressing their opinions, sharing ideas and proposing new insights and pertinent suggestions to improve a wide range of areas at SUSTech.
