Senior leaders from Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) traveled to the Shenzhen Reform and Opening-Up Exhibition Hall. The leadership group was led by SUSTech University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong, Vice Chairperson Li Fengliang, former chairperson and Director of the Center for Higher Education Research Li Ming. Other attendees included heads of departments. The purpose of the trip was to help SUSTech become a world-class university with Chinese characteristics, and the group was guided by Shenzhen Museum director Ye Yang.

“The 40^th Anniversary of Guangdong’s Reform and Opening Up” uses photos, objects, videos, models, scenes, sculptures, high-tech means and interactive experiences to show Guangdong’s development achievements over the last 40 years of reform and opening-up in a vivid and comprehensive manner. The on-site guide assisted the group through the three major films about Guangdong’s reform and opening up.
