With 2019 fresh on everybody’s mind, the College of Sciences at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held a meeting to discuss a number of grass-roots governance issues of the CPC branch within the College of Sciences. The meeting was chaired by He Jiaqing, Head of the Department of Physics.

At the meeting, CPC branches from the Departments of Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Earth & Space Sciences made reports, along with other key leaders within the organizational structure of the College, of their achievements in 2018 and their plans for 2019.

He Jiaqing pointed out that 2019 would be a key year for SUSTech, as it is seeking to become a “Double First-Class” university. It is important for all members to work hard to strengthening SUSTech and its organizational structure in order to achieve this goal.
