SUSTC Team(otaku maker)

SUSTC Team(otaku maker) snagged the third-place prize at The International Maker Open in Shenzhen on Sunday(21, June). The team also won a maker award for RMB 10,000.

 

In the game

SUSTC Team(otaku maker) is consisted of five undergraduate students from different majors. They are Mr. Zhang Yue, Mr. Luo Ziyun and Mr. Yang Daoyuan from Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE), Mr. Mao Hongyu from Mathematics and Mr. Huang Yangshun from Biology. 

After 48 hours of fierce competition, the team invented a device named As DJ. As DJ is a kind of device made for both physical activity and music composition. The International Maker Open is hosted by Shenzhen Nanshan District People’s Government and co-organized by Shenzhen Nanshan District Science and Technology Venture Service Center, CAS Maker Institute and Makeblock Shenzhen.
