On December 15, 2015, Mr. Zhao Riqiang, the Deputy Secretary of Dalian Municipality, and his delegation visited SUSTC. Mr. Ye Qin, Chief Financial Officer, and other leaders of SUSTC accompanied the delegation for the investigation.

Accompanied by Ye and other leaders of SUSTC, the delegation led by Zhao first viewed SUSTC’s sand table, inquiring about SUSTC’s infrastructural construction and campus planning.

At the seminar, Ye introduced the general information of university running to the delegation. As an innovative university which advances with the times, SUSTC pursues the integrated development of research, innovation and entrepreneurship.

SUSTC has good orientation and objectives, strong faculty, excellent students and outstanding top-level design. I believe that SUSTC will achieve its objectives as scheduled and even in advance, and expect SUSTC to be an example of reform and innovation to other domestic universities,” Zhao noted in a speech.
