“South Branch Charity Welfare” project fundraiser held at SUSTech
| 04/06/2017

On April 2nd 2017, the South Branch Charity Welfare project fund organised interactive activities at SUSTech to raise awareness and support. This event was jointly organized by the South Branch Education Foundation and the Chiyang Fund, and aimed at SUSTech’s students to explain and promote the organizations and their concept of public welfare.

The charity fund, which was initiated by the students – is to commemorate one of SUSTech’s students – Wang Qingyang – who passed away only 2 months after enrolling in the university.

This organization became a standard-bearer of SUSTech’s social and humanitarian mission, and also plays a crucial role in the university’s Education Foundation’s fund. It plays a significant role in the campus life, acting as a support organ for students facing emotional or psychological difficulties, as well as assisting with medical care and other services.
