The Graduate School of Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) organized a field trip to visit the headquarters of Shenzhen Mindray Bio-Medical Electronics Co., Ltd. (Mindray).

During the visit, the students learned about Mindray’s development history, company culture, domestic and international market conditions. They got an understanding of Mindray’s products, particularly in the in-vitro diagnosis and medical imaging fields.

Students were informed about Mindray’s internship arrangements, in-school recruitment, job status, and the competitive advantage of Mindray’s products. They also discussed how to get a job at Mindray. The students spoke about how much they had gained from the trip and learned more about Mindray.

The “Open Day” is an activity of the SUSTech Graduate School. There have been 8 sessions so far, with students traveling to DJI, Tencent, Sensetime, BYD, Sangfor, Baidu, and Huada Gene. The Open Day provides an opportunity for SUSTech students to communicate with senior industry professionals to help students gain a deeper understanding of each company’s situation. The participating students also gain additional knowledge in preparation for their future employment.
