Earlier this month, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) saw the SUSTech Student Orienteering Team compete in and win the 4th Guangdong University Orienteering Finals.
The team is made up of Hao Wei, Lv Chenghao, Zuo Jinchao, and Zhang Caiwei. It is led by Sports Center Director Dong Lunhong and coached by Hou Siyu and Qiu Xiaohui.
There were four regional stages before the final, and the SUSTech Student Orienteering Team advanced to the finals from the third regional. The students worked hard as a united team to ultimately finish first in the finals.
More than 100 teams from 62 colleges and universities across Guangdong Province participated in the regional stage, with a total of 52 teams advancing to the finals.
