SUSTech holds admissions review and planning sessions

Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its 2019 admissions review and planning session, in order to prepare for the 2020 admissions season. SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Acting Vice President Zhang Dongxiao both attended the meeting with many other university leaders and representatives. Vice Provost and Director of Teaching Affairs Huang Kefu presided over the meeting.

Leaders of different admissions teams spoke about their experiences and made recommendations to improve the team’s work. Acting Vice President Zhang Dongxiao summarized the 2019 admissions work and the objectives for 2020. He also spoke about the future opportunities for the admissions work. There were discussions about the ways to develop their efforts.

President Chen Shiyi reviewed and affirmed the admissions work of 2019. He pointed out that the cultivation of high-level innovative talents is at the heart of SUSTech and there should be continued investigation of explaining SUSTech’s advantages to society. The opportunities provided by the Greater Bay Area and the State Council Statement on Shenzhen will help foster innovative future leader of the new era, in order to take SUSTech’s admissions work to new peaks and develop the next page of our history.
