On December 19, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) hosted the annual committee meeting of the Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Energy Materials for Electric Power (Key Laboratory). SUSTech Acting Vice President (Research) and Laboratory Director Zhao Yusheng presided over the meeting.
SUSTech Acting Vice President Zhao Yusheng welcomed everyone to the meeting and discussed the development of key laboratories at SUSTech. He hoped that the participating experts would contribute to the planning and development of the key laboratory. Acting Vice President Zhao Yusheng announced the Academic Committee, full of top talents from across mainland China and the Greater Bay Area.
The members of the Academic Committee discussed research topics such as solid-state batteries, hydrogen energy sources, fuel cells, and laboratory team building. They also clarified ideas for the next stage of development towards promoting the implementation of clean energy for Guangdong Province.
The Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Energy Materials for Electric Power relies on the Academy of Advanced Interdisciplinary Studies (AAIS) at SUSTech. The Shenzhen Key Laboratory of Solid State Batteries and the Shenzhen Municipal Key Laboratory of Hydrogen Energy worked together to focus on automotive fuel cells and solid-state batteries. It seeks to build an innovative scientific research platform for new energy.
