On July 3, Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) partnered with the Shenzhen Securities Information Co. and the Shenzhen Angel Fund of Fund to continue its digital roadshow. The second online roadshow highlighted eight health-related science and technology projects.

With the support of the Technology Transfer Center (TTC), the roadshow was called the “University Start-ups Special: SUSTech at Biomedical Area.” The roadshow aimed at facilitating investment connection between SUSTech research outcomes/spin-offs and angel investors, speeding the transform from research outcomes to commercial products and services.

The eight projects came from different departments across SUSTech. Department of Chemistry Chair Professor Xumu ZHANG, Department of Chemistry Associate Professor Ruijin TIAN, School of Microelectronics Professor Hongyu YU, Department of Biomedical Engineering Chair Professor Dayong JIN, Department of Biomedical Engineering Assistant Professor Mingming ZHANG, School of Medicine Professor Liang YANG, Department of Computer Science & Engineering Associate Professor Xuan SONG, and Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering Assistant Professor Xiaoying TANG all presented their projects.
