Over the summer vacation, several departments held summer camps for outstanding university students looking to consider their postgraduate options. The camps attracted close to ten thousand students from 170 universities around China, including top institutions like Tsinghua University, Peking University, Renmin University of China, and the University of Science and Technology of China.
To follow the special regulations that had been set out under the COVID-19 situation, 12 summer camps were held entirely online. Another 11 were held in a blended online-offline mode. The camps maintained their high-quality content, including campus experiences, scholar-student exchanges, classes from world-class experts, and sharing of research plans.
The outstanding participating students said that they had gained a lot from the summer camps. They thanked SUSTech for providing them with these unique learning opportunities. It inspired the students to consider SUSTech as their next educational and research destination.
