On August 29, Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) Deputy Director of the Industry Development and Promotion Center (IDPC) Min SHU led a delegation to SUSTech. SUSTech Planning & Development Director and University Asset Management Company Chairman Susheng WANG received the MIIT delegation.

The MIIT delegation received a briefing about SUSTech’s development at the 3D campus construction sand table. As part of a campus tour, they visited the Cryo-Electron Microscopy Center, the Shenzhen Municipal Key Laboratory Of Nano-Imprinting Technology, and Shenzhen Southerntech Fuel Cell Corp.

University Asset Management Company Chairman Susheng WANG spoke about SUSTech’s development plans. General Manager Hongliang CAO spoke about the transformation of SUSTech’s scientific achievements and their implementation into society.

IDPC Deputy Director Min SHU spoke highly of SUSTech’s achievements as an innovative R&D institution that has focused on technological transformation. She spoke about the future policy plans for MIIT that will promote industrial development and transformation while anticipating further cooperation between SUSTech and MIIT.
