On December 12, the day of SUSTech’s 10th anniversary, a great celebration was held on the campus which is full of a festive atmosphere. On the day, SUSTech also received blessings of various forms from over 100 universities, alumni, faculty members and students, and well-known scholars around the world.
Representatives of 105 universities joined SUSTech in its 10th-anniversary celebration. Between the lines of the over 100 congratulatory letters are the affirmation and expectation of the ten-year achievements of the University, the good wishes for its future development, and the deep friendship of partner universities. On social media platforms, SUSTech also received great blessings.
Alumni from 4 continents, 16 countries and regions all over the world sent their most sincere wishes for the 10th anniversary of the alma mater! They said, when we chose SUSTech, we were told that choosing the University was a kind of courage, but now we all believe that choosing SUSTech is our luck.
Faculty members of SUSTech gave their best wishes to SUSTech via the video interview. They talked about their impression of the University and expectation for it in the next decade.
On that day, SUSTech also received gifts designed by faculty members and students, such as the special chip from the Shenzhen Institute of Quantum Science and Engineering and the model of Lynn Library made by students from Zhixin College.
Entrepreneurs and parents of students also presented their wishes to the University. The donator of Yidan Library,Yidan CHEN, said that since its establishment, SUSTech has blazed a new trail in China’s public innovative universities. A parent expressed her gratitude to SUSTech for the high-quality education and resources it offers to students.
World well-known scholars and laureates of Nobel Prize, Fields Medal, and Turing Award congratulated SUSTech on its anniversary via the video.
