Recently, the Ministry of Education (MoE) approved undergraduate majors for 2021. Among them, the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) received the approval of the following three majors by the MoE:
SUSTech follows the discipline setting and structure of world-class science and engineering universities. The University shoulders the responsibility of developing emerging industries in the Greater Bay Area (GBA) and meeting the country’s strategic needs through groundbreaking research, with science, engineering, and medicine as its core disciplines, and further concentrations on business and humanities and social sciences.
To date, the number of undergraduate majors at SUSTech has increased to 37, covering five disciplines, including 13 majors in science, 19 in engineering, 3 in economics, 1 in medicine, and 1 in management.
In its new development stage, SUSTech will further strengthen the development of its majors, ensure high quality of talent training, and continue to support economic and social development.
