Last Friday saw party committee secretary of Yantai University Zhang Wei and former Vice Provost of Peking University Fang Xingui come to Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech).

The visitors brought a delegation to SUSTech, where they were met by SUSTech University Council Chairperson Guo Yurong and Vice President Tang Tao. Other members of the delegation included leaders from Peking University and Yantai University, while SUSTech also had key leaders in attendance.

Chairperson Guo Yurong discussed how SUSTech operates in a variety of areas and wanted to learn from each other in order to strengthen talent and faculty exchanges.

Vice President Tang Tao introduced the talent pipeline of SUSTech.

Party committee secretary Zhang Wei was full of praise for SUSTech’s achievements. He spoke about the development of Yantai University and hoped that both universities would strengthen exchanges and cooperation.
