University of East Anglia President Arrives in SUSTech from UK for Cooperation Discussions

On April 11, University of East Anglia President David Richardson, Director Angelina Bingley of Admission & Market Department and Dean Dabo Guan of Climate Change Department in the School of Environment visited SUSTech, having talks with SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Vice President Tang Tao, Chief Operating Officer Lu Chun and principals of SUSTech Department of International Cooperation, School of Environment and Graduate School, etc.  

In the talks, both parties showed great interest in establishing partnership between them, willing to discuss possibility of comprehensive cooperation between the two universities. They also had discussions about co-establishing teaching & research organ to promote exchanges and cooperation between scholars, jointly cultivate masters and doctors, and exchange undergraduates.  

University of East Anglia is taking the leading position in the world in environmental science. SUSTech School of Environment and the University of East Anglia have maintained sound partnership in studies of climate change.

The visitors were deeply impressed by the exceptional research performance, fascinating campus environment, wonderful international development and excellent teaching quality in SUSTech.
