Last week saw Vice President of King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) Yves Gnanou lead a delegation to Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). The delegation was met by SUSTech President Chen Shiyi and Vice President Lu Chun.
As part of their meeting, both groups discussed undergraduate exchanges and scientific cooperation, focusing on establishing joint training of talents and working together on their academic disciplines. The KAUST delegation also spoke with many other departments across SUSTech, seeking to learn as much as possible.
KAUST Vice President Yves Gnanou spoke to the SUSTech undergraduate students, encouraging them to visit the Visiting Students Research Internship Program (VSRP) and the “3+2” Joint Undergraduate & Graduate Program.
King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) is located in Jeddah, a coastal city in Saudi Arabia. Founded in 2009, it is a private, international, research-oriented university specializing in science and engineering. As a young university, KAUST has become one of the fastest growing academic institutions in the world for academic research and papers.
