University of Warwick Delegation Arrives in SUSTech from UK for Cooperation Discussions

On the April 16, 2016, Lawrence S. Young, Vice President of University of Warwick, Prof. Qing Wang from Warwick Business School, Jianfeng Feng from Department of Computer Science and James Kennedy, Director of the International Office, visited Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). Vice President Tang Tao, Vice President Wu Chuanyue and Tang Tao, Chief Operating Officer Lu Chun, other leaders of SUSTech held talks with the visitors.

Vice President Tang took this opportunity to welcome all the delegates and introduced the fundamental conditions of SUSTech, including vision and mission, professional settings, faculty, global engagement and campus. Vice President Lawrence S. Young expressed their gratitude to the hospitality from SUSTech. University of Warwick, founded in 1965, is a world-leading university with the highest academic and research standards, striving to be the best across the core research and teaching. “We treasures the relations with SUSTech and are ready to enhance exchanges and cooperation with the university and make concerted efforts for common development,” Vice President Young added.

During the meeting, both sides exchanged views on undergraduate exchange program, and joint graduate program. President Chen Shiyi held talks with Vice President Young after the meeting.

The University of Warwick

Warwick Business School was established in 1967 and Warwick Medical School was opened in 2000.
