On April 14, New York University Shanghai University Chancellor Yu Lizhong, the Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences, Dr. ZHAO Zhongjian the Associate Dean of Arts and Sciences and Mr. Guo Wei, the director of Human Resource visited SUSTech, holding talks with SUSTech President Chen Shiyi, Chief Operating Officer Lu Chun. Prof. Hou Shentao, director of Global Engagement and Mr. Liang Jiansheng, deputy director of Human Resource Office attended the above meeting.

In the talks, from the perspectives of SUSTech mission, targets, vision, positioning, discipline development, faculty team and international cooperation and campus development, President Chen Shiyi reported on SUSTech.

Chancellor Yu Lizhong also introduced the targets, vision, international cooperation, faculty, talent recruitment and discipline development. Both parties showed great interest in establishing partnership between them, willing to discuss possibility of comprehensive cooperation between the two universities.

Jointly established by New York University and East China Normal University, NYU Shanghai is the third degree-granting campus in NYU’s global network, joining NYU Abu Dhabi and NYU’s campus in New York City.
