25th Anniversary of the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations with Israel – 8 Cultural and Creative Talks on Digital Ideas

Shenzhen News Network – May 11 (Reporter Pan Runhua) this year marks the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Israel. The China International Cultural and Trade Base (Shenzhen) hosted the 2017 China International Conference on Cultural Products – the Digital Creative Industry Forum was held at the Shenzhen Industrial Exhibition Center on the afternoon of the 11th. For the occasion, 8 speakers from both countries were invited to participate in a conference here in Shenzhen to share thoughts and ideas on digital culture and creativity.

Attending the forum were various key figures such as the Chinese Ministry of Culture Deputy Director of the Foreign Affairs Bureau Li Jiangang, the Consul General of Israel in Guangzhou Nan Anan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Culture Director Yoram Morad, Shenzhen City Sports Tourism Bureau Deputy Inspector Chai Fengchun, Shenzhen newspaper Group General Manager, Shenzhen Huahui International Culture Communication Co., Ltd. Chairman Wang Yuejun.

Li Jiangang said in his speech that the two countries fully support and want to encourage public entrepreneurship and innovation, especially in the field of digital creative industries. This forum’s purpose is to strengthen further the relationship these two countries have and boost cultural and cross-border exchanges.

8 lecturers followed Li’s speech, including Peking University Cultural Industry Research Institute Vice President Xiang Yong, Anhui Xinhua Distribution Group Deputy General Manager Guo Hongbin, Shenzhen City Public Culture and Technology Co., Ltd. founder and president Huang Zhenhua , Author of the Senior Reality Research Laboratory at the Hezriya Interdisciplinary Research Center in Israel, Duolun Friedman, Israeli media artist Daniel Landau, Israeli artist and Kurarat Siegel and Israel Digital Game Industry Association Director of International Affairs Shahi Lieberman. They are from all kinds of digital creative areas, each one bringing his own vision on fields like virtual reality, artificial intelligence, game animation, art and technology combined with the infinite possibilities and charm.

The forum attracted professionals from a variety of industries such as cultural creativity, design, games, film and television, and art. Most members of the audience said the presentations were very enjoyable and shared many interesting digital creative cases. The organisers said that they hoped these in-depth exchanges would promote digital creativity in the two countries and promised to continue building stronger links between their industries in a mutually beneficial relationship.
