SUSTech Affiliated Hospital staff supporting frontline medical work in Wuhan

On February 11, eighteen doctors and nurses from the Second Affiliated Hospital of Southern University of Science and Technology (Shenzhen Third People’s Hospital) have joined the fourth batch of medical workers from Shenzhen that are helping the people of Wuhan. The nurses and doctors are from the National Medical Center for Infectious Diseases and the intensive care unit of the Second Affiliated Hospital of Southern University of Science and Technology (Shenzhen Third People’s Hospital).

The National Medical Center for Infectious Diseases at the Second Affiliated Hospital of Southern University of Science and Technology (Shenzhen Third People’s Hospital) has been challenged with a difficult task of treating severe cases. It has taken this mission with both hands by setting up high-quality teams that can support the work of numerous groups around mainland China.

Intensive care nurse Liu Huizhi has worked hard to develop a team of doctors and nurses to travel to Wuhan. He received many nominations to join the team, as they wish to win the battle against the novel coronavirus.

The fourth batch of medical workers is made up of six intensive care doctors, one respiratory doctor, one academic sense expert, and ten intensive care nurses.
