On June 24, the Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) launched its 4th Shoks Global Excellence and Innovation Talent Summer School.
The program welcomed 78 students from leading universities domestically and internationally. Over the next 21 days, these students will receive guidance from industry experts and academic mentors as they delve into interdisciplinary innovation topics.
The 4th Shoks Global Excellence and Innovation Talent Summer School will adopt an innovative teaching model that incorporates both online and offline elements. This approach will connect domestic and international participants and foster partnerships between universities and enterprises, creating a future-orientated “new engineering” talent training model.
Collaborating with high-tech companies in Shenzhen, SUSTech has designed a series of project topics. Domestic and international students will form teams to demonstrate their innovative capabilities and global perspectives through exchanges and interactions.
In addition to faculty members from SUSTech, a distinguished team of academic mentors from prestigious institutions such as the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), Yale University, and the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign will provide guidance throughout the program.
