From September 25 to 28, 2015, President Chen Shiyi was invited to participate in the 9th session of global summit of strategic leaders for Graduate education in Singapore, and gave a theme lecture on “inspiration on Graduate education by big data” as a guiding member of the assembly.

The Global Summit of Strategic Leadersfor Graduate Education is sponsored by the Council of Graduate Schools, aims topromote the optimum international practice of master students and doctorstudents and has become a key international academic communication program ofglobal graduate education. The annual summit for 2015 was jointly held by the Council of Graduate Schools and National University of Singapore and attracted graduate experts and representatives from almost 40 world-famous universitieslike American Cornell University, Canada Queen’s University, Australia Queensland University of Technology, Hong Kong University and Peking Universityetc. to participate in the summit.

During the period in Singapore,President Chen Shiyi, the Vice President Tang Tao, the Director of International Cooperation University of SUSTC, and the Vice President and Dean TAN Eng Chye，the Vice President in charge of scientific research Philip Li-Fan Liu, the Directorof School of Engineering Chua Kee Chaing, Vice Dean in charge of graduate education and Chain Eng Soon had in-depth communication. Both parties reachedconsensus on undergraduate exchange, graduate cooperation and training and teacher exchange, and will cooperate in a wide range.
