President Chen Shiyi led His Delegation and Visited University of Hong Kong

On October 8, 2015, the President Chen Shiyi led his delegation and visited University of Hong Kong. The Chief Vice President of University of Hong Kong, Professor TAM KWONG HANG, and the Vice President Professor HO TZE SEUN and principals of involving departments warmly received the President Chen Shiyi and his fellows. 

At the subsequent symposium, both parties discussed on joint training of doctoral students, exchange visit and employment of professors, joint establishment of laboratory, joint development of research program and exchange study of undergraduates. The President Chen Shiyi said that, SUSTC was a university integrating research, innovation and entrepreneurship, shouldered the mission of serving regional industrial and economic mission, and in-depth cooperation between SUSTC and University of Hong Kong would advance development of the two universities substantially. The Chief Vice President TAM KWONG HANG gave positive assessment on city vigor and industrial innovation of Shenzhen, and hoped that both universities would cooperate in education, scientific research, industry-university-research cooperation and other fields. At present, preparations for doctoral student training program of SUSTC-University of Hong Konghave been kicked off.

Introduction to The University of Hong Kong
