Vice President Francois Collin of HEC Business School in Paris visited Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech). University President Chen Shiyi met with the guests.
President Chen Shiyi warmly welcomed Francois Collin back to SUSTech, praising both universities for their recent cooperative and developmental achievements. He said that HEC Paris is an important strategic partner of SUSTech. It is hoped that the two universities will further strengthen and promote cooperation and exchanges in technological innovation, management, and entrepreneurship.
Francois Collin said that HEC Paris Business School attaches great importance to its partnership with SUSTech. It will continue to promote and strengthen cooperation between the two universities. Both universities would seek to cooperate in areas such as academic research, joint training, personnel exchanges, and the establishment of innovative and entrepreneurial platforms.
After the talks, Francois Collin and his delegation visited the School of Business and the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Both groups partook in extensive discussions on the details of future cooperation projects.
Executive Director of Executive Education Inge Kerkloh Devif and Director of China Affairs Xu Ying were members of the delegation from HEC Paris. Dean Liu Ke of the School of Innovation and Entrepreneurship, along with the head of Office of Global Engagement and the School of Business attended the meeting.
HEC Paris, also known as “HEC Business School,” was founded in 1881 by the Paris Chamber of Commerce and Industry. It is the most prestigious business management school in France and one of the most famous business schools in Europe. HEC Business School offers Master’s degrees in Management and Business Administration, an Executive Master’s Degree of Business Administration and Ph.D.’s. In June 2018, SUSTech and Paris HEC Business School signed a strategic cooperation agreement under the witness of French Prime Minister Edouard Philippe.
