SUSTC Signs Cooperation Agreement with University of Erlangen-Nuremberg

On October 22,Professor Lu Chun, the dean of general affairs and college leader ofinternational affairs of SUSTC signed cooperation framework agreement withProfessor Gunter Leugering, the vice president of international affairs ofUniversity Erlangen-Nuremberg in Yifu Buiding of East China University ofScience and Technology representing SUSTC. The secretary of state ineducational culture and science & art department of Bavaria, Germany, BerndSibler witnessed the signing ceremony.

This signingactivity is one of the cooperation and interchange activities of China-Germanyycolleges and universities sponsored by the educational culture and science& art department of Bavaria, Germany, and undertaken by East ChinaUniversity of Science and Technology. Presidents, vice presidents from 13colleges and universities in Bavaria, Germany, including comprehensiveuniversity and university of applied sciences, consist of this delegation ofGermany colleges and universities.

According tothe cooperation framework agreement, our school will carry out cooperation inrelated discipline fields of School of Science with the University ofErlangen-Nuremberg, focusing on the exploration of exchange and jointcultivation at the level of graduate students, and expanding to other fieldsgradually.

In November oflast year, the University of Erlangen-Nuremberg attended the universityalliance founding conference of Shenzhen international friendly city and thefirst forum sponsored by SYSTC, and explored substantial cooperation methodwith SUSTC positively after that, achieving progress in aspects of cooperativeresearch, joint cultivation and teacher exchange.
