On April 14th 2015, invited by Prof. Cheng Xin, Prof.Rainer Fink from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg visit SUSTC and gave a wonderful lecture entitled “Microscopic insight into theelectronicstructure of organic electronic devices under operation”

At the beginning, Prof. Fink briefly introduced the basic situation of Friedrich-Alexander-UniversitätErlangen-Nürnberg. Then Prof. Fink presentedhis research fields. His research fields include Organic thin films, molecular self-organization, organicnanostructures, interface-controlled, Organic thin film devices (OFETs),in-operando electron spectroscopies, polymer-based, Spectromicroscopy, instrumentation development,aberration-corrected PEEM/LEEM and solar cells.

Prof. Fink’s topics arouse great interests ofthe audiences. Prof. Cheng Xin, Lu Zhouguang, Liang Yongye, Tian Leilei, Guo Xugang and Liu Chongyang, He Feng talked some concerned questions with prof. Fink andhe gave satisfying replies and received overwhelming applause.
