In the morning of 15th day, the Vice President Tang Tao, the dean of general affairs Lu Chun and principals of International Cooperation Department, School of Postgraduate, Department of Physics, Department of Chemistry, Department of Electronic and Electric Engineering and Department of Electronics and Electric Engineering of the University had discussion with the delegation of Temple University. The Vice President Tang Tao introduced current situations of postgraduate education of the University, and detailed joint training of doctoral students. He figured out that, Temple University was the first university performing joint training with South University of Science and Technology of China, which attached great importance to the cooperation relations established with Temple University, and expected extensive cooperation in the future. At the conference, both parties reviewed cooperation carried out, and discussed short-term communication programs, joint training and other programs deeply. Both parties thought that, by exchange visit and communicating between teachers and scientific research staff, it intensified cooperation consensus on scientific research and advanced wide-range and multi-tier cooperation between the two universities.
Before that, in the evening of 14th day, the delegation introduced joint training and 3+2 programs for doctoral students with Temple University, shared studying and life in Temple University, and the delegations communicated with interested students.
In this visit, the delegation visited Department of Chemistry, Department of Material Science and Engineering, Department of Electronics and Electric Engineering and Department of Physics, visited the laboratory and had discussion, and discussed joint training and other cooperation.
