At the end of last month, SUSTech Core Research Facilities (SCRF) at Southern University of Science and Technology (SUSTech) held its second CNAS laboratory accreditation certification session. The training session included CNAS quality management system (QMS) series training and ISO9001 system certification training.

More than 30 SCRF staff members joined faculty members from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, and the School of Environmental Science and Engineering attended the session.

Professor Tong Jian, assessor of the ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation system, explained the CNAS quality management system. Registered QMS auditor and senior engineer Zhang Yaojing explained the related contents of ISO9001 certification training for the teachers of micro and nanofabrication facility.

Participating teachers said that they learned answers to many questions as part of the accreditation process. SCRF will continuously improve the management ability and practical ability of teachers.
